Heat shrinkable tubes
designed for the protection of cable harnesses with extraordinary insulation properties. By heating, the tube is shrunk during the installation and is moulded on generally any shape given by the application of the cable or connector. Mechanical protection of terminals of cables and connectors, protection of applications against cabling load, connector or cable connections subjected to pulling or bending, wear or impact of other chemical substances. Last but not least, these products solve aesthetic appearance of connections of cable harnesses; the products can be delivered in 5 basic colours, including the transparent one. With one of its brands Raychem, Tyco Electronics is the world leader in the market of heat shrinkable polymer technology.

Technologies

Tube extrusion for TUBING, follow-up networking of the material by its irradiation by special technologies, so-called beam (electron accelerator). It will create memory of the material concerning the original extruded shape or dimension, expansion of tubes on expansion lines, finalization processing in the form of cutting to shorter parts.
